About Hustle
OOKFounded in 2019, Hustle Acting & Performance is a dynamic program designed to boost confidence and creativity in young actors aged 7 to 15.
Our Unique Program
In our 10-class programs (or 20 classes where applicable), students tackle two unique plays. What sets us apart? These are 100% original productions—written entirely by Hustle and based on the students' own ideas! This is a unique, student-led experience you won't find in any other youth drama program in Ontario.
Each one-hour class is a lively mix of activities, including developing student play ideas, mastering a new skill (like miming or stage combat), playing drama games, and rehearsing.
Performances
The final performances take place at the end of Week 5 and Week 10 classes. We warmly invite parents and family members to attend and enjoy the show!

Brampton (Paul Palleschi Recreation Centre)
Milton (Sherwood Recreation Centre)
Mississauga (South Common CC or Huron Park CC)
Each class is led by Michael (Mikey) Khan, who is known for his infectious energy!
Mikey has held high-level positions within children's based educational companies such as Mad Science Hamilton & Kitchener as well as the Great Big Theatre Company.
Mikey has been a guest teacher in over 100 schools across Peel & Halton, most recently running full-school drama workshops at Earnscliffe Senior public school in Brampton and Walden International School in Oakville. He's directed over 1000 plays, written over 200 and has helped over 100 kids successfully audition for the drama school of their choice, through the Hustle Audition Preparation program (the only audition preparation program is Ontario to hold a 100% success rate).
Simply put, you won't find anyone with the background and experience that Mikey has with this age group.
He has been the artistic director and executive director since 2019.
